MBLAQ Lee Joon's mother revealed that her son doesn't like to wash up.

When Lee Joon's mother appeared on MBC family variety "Bouquet", she mentioned the above.
Panicked Joon quickly denied, but his mother did not give way and continued revealing her son's episode that happened when little.

His mother said, "Before sleeping, I always have to check if Lee Joon brushed his teeth. One day, I asked, 'You brush you teeth once a week,right?' Lee Joon replied confidently, 'No! I brush once every two days.' "

Next, Lee Joon himself revealed that he often sweat alot during dance practices or when exercising.
In these cases, you will usually take a bath. But he will just let the wind to dry himself, shocking the cast of the show.

"Idols You Want to Give a Rose to on Coming of Age Day"

SHINee's Minho and Girls' Generation's Seohyun each took first place as the male and female celebrity whom people want to present a rose to on Coming of Age Day.

Movie site Max Movie conducted a poll for four days from May 13th to the 16th asking the question "Who is the male celebrity to whom you want to present a rose on Coming of Age Day?" A total of 3020 netizens participated in the poll.

For the results in the male section of the poll SHINee's Minho received the support of 53.2% (1608 votes) of the netizens and came in 1st place.

The subsequent order was 2nd place 2AM's Jung Jinwoon 25% (754 votes), 3rd place FT Island's Lee Jaejin 5.5% (167 votes), 4th place SHINee's Key 4.5% (137 votes),  

 

5th place MBLAQ's Mir 4.2% (127 votes),  

6th place Beast's Dongwoon 3.8% (116 votes), and 7th place U-Kiss's Woo Sunghyun 3.7% (111 votes).

For the female section of the poll a total of 2399 netizens participated and resulted in Girls' Generation’s Seohyun receiving 44.3% (1062 votes) of the support and recording 1st place.

The subsequent order was 2nd place Kara's Goo Hara 28.9% (693 votes), 3rd place Kara's Nicole 8.1% (194 votes), 4th place 2ne1's CL 6.3% (152 votes), 5th place After School's Nana 3.5% (84 votes), 6th place Woori 3.3% (80 votes), 7th place 4minute's Jung Jiyoon 2.8% (68 votes), and 8th place 4minute's Heo Gayoon 2.8% (66 votes).

MBLAQ’s G.O. to release a solo digital single?

MBLAQ’s G.O. will be taking his first step as a solo artist with the release of his very own digital single!

On May 31st, a representative of J. Tune Camp revealed, “MBLAQ’s G.O. will be making a solo debut with a digital single comprised of songs that he has personally written and composed.”

Although he won’t be promoting the single on any music programs, fans can still support him by purchasing the song from online music sites. The album is special in that it he didn’t get any help from his mentor, Rain. Rain had given him musical freedom to create something with his own ideas.

G.O.’s solo track will be an R&B ballad.  Although the title hasn’t been revealed yet, we’ll definitely have more info on it soon. Stay tuned for its release!

MBLAQ’s Joon’s mother busts out a comedic side on MBC’s “Bouquet”

On May 29th, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon guested on MBC’s “Bouquet” with his mother, who’s also a music professor at Myungji University.

Lee Joon confessed, “My mom once told me don’t go around singing.” Jokingly shocked, panelists asked his mother, Son, why she would say something like that to her son, who’s a singer.

Son retorted, “I sometimes forget that he’s a singer!” After a burst of laughter from the panel, she continued to explain that as a professor of music, she felt that he lacked some vocal talent.

Later on in the show, she also revealed childhood photos of Lee Joon, along with a hilarious explanation that although he was smart as a kid, his IQ began to drop into the double digits (120 to 98) growing up.

Lee Joon confessed, “I’ve never once had a proper meal from my mother. For the past 24 years, it’s always been the standard bowl of rice, a soup, and side dishes.”

Son retorted, “I breast-fed my son for two years, even when we were riding the subways. I’d breast-feed him to make him stop crying.” Lee Joon commented,”They say that your IQ is supposed to go up when you’re breast-fed but I’m the opposite. My IQ was 120 when I was younger, but now I think I’m 98.”

Panelists asked, “Then does that mean Lee Joon has the same IQ as a dolphin?” Son replied, “His IQ changes depending on his condition. But it’s because of me that he at least has that much!”

MBLAQ’s G.O. & Thunder aren’t fans of haunted houses?

On May 28th, MBLAQ’s G.O. and Thunder shared a photo from a haunted house at an amusement park.

G.O. tweeted, “We went on break for the first time in a while and visited an amusement park. The kids kept wanting to go to a haunted house, but Thunder and I don’t like that kind of stuff.”

Fans commented back, “I think Lee Joon would have liked the haunted house”, and “Scared of a haunted house? They’re so cute.”

The boys are currently supporting the Hallyu wave over in Japan with their Japanese single, “Your Love“.
